It is our pleasure to inform you that the Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing is now accepting manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication in a Special Issue on Parallel Computing for Systems and Decision Sciences. The Special Issue will focus on R&D efforts in cross-cutting areas at the intersection of algorithms research, computational sciences, systems & decision sciences and optimization. Important Dates for manuscript submission are:
- Submission opening: November 1, 2022
- Submission deadline: March 31, 2023
- First review deadline: June 30, 2023
- Acceptance deadline: September 30, 2023

Authors should follow the Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing manuscript format described at the journal site: hxxps://www.elsevier.com/journals/journal-of-parallel-and-distributed-computing/0743-7315/guide-for-authors .

All manuscripts and any supplementary material should be submitted through Editorial Manager (EM), available at: hxxps://www.editorialmanager.com/jpdc/default.aspx . The authors must select "VSI: PC4SDS" when they reach the "Article Type" in the submission process.
