CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

PPAM 2022: 14th International Conference on Parallel Processing
and Applied Mathematics

September 11 – September 14, 2022
Gdansk, Poland, and Online
https://ppam.edu.pl/
**************************************************************************

The PPAM 2022 conference, the fourteenth in a series, will cover topics in
parallel and distributed computing, including theory and applications, as well
as applied mathematics. The focus will be on models, algorithms, and software
tools that facilitate efficient and convenient utilization of modern parallel
and distributed computing architectures, as well as large-scale applications,
including artificial intelligence and machine learning problems. Special
attention will be given to the future of computing beyond Moore's Law.

The 28 contributed papers were accepted for the main track of PPAM 2022.
Co-located workshops, minisymposia, and special sessions are an integral
part of the conference. Three tutorials will take place on the first day
of PPAM 2022. An exciting component of PPAM 2022 is the social program
including the catamaran cruise, welcome reception with music concert, and
gala dinner.

We announce the exciting keynote talks. Among the speakers are Jack Dongarra
(University of Tennessee and ORNL), 2021 Turing Award winner, Satoshi Matsuoka
(Tokyo Tech), the leader of the development of the next-generation
supercomputer Fugaku, and John Shalf (Lawrence Berkeley National Lab),
widely known for his works on continuing the scaling of digital computing
beyond exascale and after Moore's law ends.

This year PPAM will be primarily an in-person event at the Gdansk University of
Technology. The University campus is easily reachable by air and by rail.
However, we also make provision for authors and delegates to present, attend
and interact online.

Gdansk is well worth a visit in September, with a wide variety of attractions,
including the historical city center, Oliwa Cathedral, and many inspiring
museums.

Registration is now open: https://ppam.edu.pl
