The deadline for SC22 Workshop Proposals has been extended to Mar. 4 23:59 AoE.

SC Workshops are half- or full-day events for presentations, discussion, and
interaction covering various fields of interest, from the avant-garde to the
tried-and-true. Hardware, software, data analysis, machine learning,
containers, performance, correctness, urgent computing, education, quantum and
anything else that might be of interest to SC attendees is fair game.
Proposals for workshops about new topics as well as veteran sessions are
equally encouraged.

Workshops typically take one of the following formats:
* Workshops centered around published technical papers
* Workshops centered around panelists and discussion (“mini-symposia”)
* Workshops for working groups with invited speakers
but any format will be considered with sufficient justification in the proposal.
In recent years, more than 90% of the workshops were of the first type.

SC does not include workshop papers in the SC proceedings.
Workshop organizers who wish to publish proceedings can choose to work with an IEEE-approved publisher.

Workshop proposals are peer-reviewed by a committee of experts.
Each proposal will have at least three reviewers.
The peer review process is single-blind.

Upon acceptance, workshop organizers who intend to participate in the
Reproducibility Initiative should provide for their workshop authors:
* Information about this initiative on the workshop’s website,
explaining how authors can present their reproducibility documentation
* An evaluation of each author’s reproducibility documentation, as part of the review process

SC22 workshops will be held November 13 (Sunday), 14 (Monday), and 18 (Friday) 2022, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas, USA. These sessions are open to SC22 attendees with a Workshops registration.
