*IEEE SmartBCom 2021 -- call for paper*

*The 6th International Conference on Smart Computing and Communication*

With the rapid development of computing and communication technologies,
many applications has facilitated a dramatical growth of new techniques’
implementations, such as cloud computing, big data, pervasive computing,
Internet of Things, and social cyber-physical systems. Enabling a smart
life has become a popular research topic with an urgent demand. Therefore,
the 6th International Conference on Smart Computing and Communication
(SmartCom 2021) will focus on both smart computing and communications
fields and aims to collect recent academic work to improve the research and
practical applications. The scope of SmartCom 2021 covers a broad extent,
from smart data to smart communications, from smart cloud computing to
smart security. The conference is gathering all high-quality
research/industrial papers related to smart computing and communications
and targets at proposing a reference guideline for further research.

Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
• Smart computing in new paradigms of smart data

*IEEE SmartBlock 2021 -- call for paper*

*The 6th International Conference on Smart Blockchain*

Recent rapid development of blockchain has attracted a giant attention
by both academia and the industry. Migrating a centralized computing to
decentralized computing seems to be a main stream to establish a trust and
secure storage and trading environment. However, it is actually too early
to make a solid statement about the adoption of blockchain technology,
since there are many unsolved problems in the field. The success of
blockchain technique in Bitcoin does not mean the technique can be
successfully deployed in all domains. This international conference aims to
gather most updated papers in the field of blockchain and provides a
platform for both scholars and practitioners. The scope of SmartBlock
conference involves a broad range related to blockchain realms, from
privacy-preserving solutions to designing advanced blockchain mechanism,
from empirical studies to practical manuals.

Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
• Blockchain theory
• Legal, ethical and societal aspects of blockchain
• Blockchain application in social networking Smart contract and
distributed ledger
• P2P network analysis for blockchain
• Blockchain-enabled cloud/edge computing
• Blockchain-enabled services
• Distributed consensus and fault tolerance mechanisms Permissioned and
permissionless blockchains
• Privacy and anonymity-enhancing techniques in blockchain Security,
privacy and trust of blockchain
• Blockchain performance optimization
• Cryptocurrency adoption and economic impacts in blockchain Lightweight
protocols and algorithms of blockchain
• Forensics and monitoring in blockchain
• Blockchain based lightweight data structures for
• IoT data Blockchain based
• IoT security and privacy
• Blockchain in cyber physical systems
• Attacks on blockchain based systems
• Bolckchain in crowdsourcing and crowdsensing
• Fraud detection and financial crime prevention in blockchain
• Trust management in blockchain
• Smart Blockchain and token economy
• Smart Blockchain and applications
• Smart Blockchain and digital economy
• Cyber Security in emergent technologies
