Dear colleague,

We’re doing a research survey on #system #performance engineering for cyber-physical systems (CPS). System performance often brings the competitive advantage in commercial and industrial markets for CPS. Designing for performance is crucial and implies that system performance is integrally taken into account during the entire system life cycle. We would like to know #your #opinion on system performance engineering in terms of focus areas, state of practice, and future challenges.

By filling out the survey, you help the system performance engineering community to develop a shared view on how to architect and design for system performance. The scientific community is short on empirical underpinnings of scientific roadmaps. We intend to (partially) fill that gap. The benefits for you are the insights you may gain into the domain of system performance engineering as you complete the survey. The results will be made available to the community through a white paper. The paper will be submitted for presentation at a scientific conference in the performance engineering domain.

- Start the survey at https://survey.tno.nl/nmlqoidkyf?l=en

This survey is anonymous and takes around 20 minutes to complete. We would highly appreciate your time and contribution. The survey is open till June 30. Feel free to share this mail with anyone who may be interested.

Thank you for your contribution!

The survey is conducted by ESI (TNO), https://esi.nl/. ESI is a Dutch open innovation research center with strong partnerships with companies and universities leading in the CPS domain. Through the development of new methodologies for system design and engineering, ESI addresses the ever-increasing complexity that the industry in the CPS domain is facing. Its research program aims to advance industry by improving the lead times and effectiveness of their production and innovation processes, as well as the functionality, quality and societal impact of their products.
