Details about the ONLINE workshop format:
Dear colleagues, we would like to provide you all the details about how
to join JSSPP this year.
JSSPP will be hosted online using Google's meet.google.com
videoconferencing tool.
This meeting will start at 14:30 UTC on Friday, May 22, which gives at
least a theoretical chance for most of our speakers to join us.
Technical details about the meeting:
1) detailed information are continuously posted on JSSPP's website:
http://jsspp.org/index.php?page=program
2) the most convenient way how to join us is to open the page and click
on the "Google calendar" button which will allow you to see the event
details (and proper time zone). You need to have a Google account to use
this link.
3) if you don't have Google account you can still join us by clicking
directly on the link: https://meet.google.com/hqr-irsa-izn Still, it is
much more convenient to use the calendar, due to the timing.
4) we will host a "connection test" session one day before the workshop
at the same time (14:30 UTC on Thursday, May 21). It would be great if
you could connect briefly in order to troubleshoot possible problems in
advance.
5) if you have a gmail address, you can provide it to us and we will add
you on the "list of invited people", which will simplify the connection
process. Still, this is up to you, you can always join us without giving
us these details.
6) IMPORTANT: we would like to record this meeting in order to share it
later on the website. If you don't want to be recorded, please tell us.
If you have any more questions, please contact us at: jssppw at gmail.com
