MESSAGE FROM IPDPS ORGANIZERS ABOUT IPDPS 2020 WORKSHOPS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear IPDPS Community,

The workshops at IPDPS are a core part of who we are. And this year, we are
celebrating the anniversary of four of our workshops: EduPar is in its 10th
year, HIPS is in its 25th year, AsHES is in its 10th year, and PDCO is also in
its 10th year.

EduPar will look back on and look forward to contributions to education in
parallel computing. Most of us are parallel computing educators, and EduPar is
calling upon us to share our skills and techniques for teaching parallel
computing. We hope you will think about submitting a poster to EduPar to share
your wisdom. Deadline is February 23. See EduPar link to CfP on ipdps.org
Workshops page.

The 25 year celebrant HIPS is also still accepting submissions. Full and short
papers can be submitted until February 21st. See HIPS link to CfP on ipdps.org
Workshops page.

There are 21 workshops planned for IPDPS 2020 in New Orleans and some are still
open for submissions. In planning your conference week, consider checking out
all of the workshops as well as these four celebrating their long term
accomplishments.

All of the workshops can be found at the Workshops page here.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IPDPS Workshops are the bookends to the three-day conference technical program
of contributed papers, invited speakers, student programs, and industry
participation. They provide the IPDPS community an opportunity to explore
special topics and present work that is more preliminary or cutting-edge than
the more mature research presented in the main symposium. Proceedings of the
workshops are distributed at the conference and are submitted for inclusion in
IEEE Xplore after the conference.
