ISC HIGH PERFORMANCE 2019 - CALL FOR TUTORIALS
SUBMISSION DUE February 6, 2019

Are you interested in presenting a tutorial at the ISC High Performance
conference? If so, please be advised that the submissions page is open
for tutorials and the deadline for submission is February 6, 2019.


The ISC tutorials are interactive courses focusing on key topics of high
performance computing, networking, storage, and data science. Renowned
experts in their respective fields will give attendees a comprehensive
introduction to the topic as well as providing a closer look at specific
problems. Tutorials are encouraged to include a "hands-on" component to
allow attendees to practice prepared materials.
Submitted tutorial proposals will be reviewed by the ISC 2019 Tutorials
Committee, which is headed by Dr. Sandra Wienke, RWTH Aachen University,
with Dr. Janine Bennett, Sandia National Laboratories, as Deputy Chair.
The tutorials will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2019 and will be either
half-day (9:00 am - 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm) or full-day (9:00 am -
6:00 pm).

Submission Deadline - Wednesday, February 6, 2019, 11:59 pm AoE
Notification of Acceptance - Wednesday, March 13, 2019
Working Materials for Tutorial Attendees due - Monday, June 10, 2019
Tutorials - Sunday, June 16, 2019
Final Presentation Slides in PDF due - Friday, June 21, 2019


SUBMISSION & REVIEW PROCESS
Tutorial proposals need to be submitted via the ISC 2019 submission site
https://ssl.linklings.net/conferences/isc_hpc/ by Wednesday, February 6,
2019. Additional information, including guidelines for proposal
preparation and details regarding travel support, can be found at
https://www.isc-hpc.com/tutorials-2019.html.
The Tutorials Committee will review and evaluate all submitted tutorial
proposals based on their originality, significance, quality and clarity.
Each proposal will be reviewed by at least three reviewers. The Tutorials
Committee will select the tutorials (with the objective of covering the
largest variety of topics) and allocate selected tutorials' time slots.
The Tutorials Committee reserves a right to assign a shepherd to some
accepted submissions in order to ensure quality standards.
