Interested in learning about educational research projects in high
performance computing (HPC) and parallel and distributed computing
(PDC)? Looking for an opportunity to work with other researchers? Want
to enhance your HPC/PDC course with exciting topics and tools?

We invite you to join us for the EduHPC-18: Workshop on Education for
High-Performance Computing (EduHPC-18)<
https://grid.cs.gsu.edu/~tcpp/curriculum/?q=eduhpc18 >, which will be
co-located with Supercomputing
2018<https://sc18.supercomputing.org/>(SC18) at Kay Bailey Hutchison
Convention Center, Dallas, Texas on November 11, 2018. Program
available online < https://grid.cs.gsu.edu/~tcpp/curriculum/?q=technical_program18 >.

The workshop is particularly dedicated to bringing together
stakeholders from industry (both hardware vendors and employers),
government labs, and academia in the context of SC-18. The goal is for
each to hear the challenges faced by others, to learn about various
approaches to addressing these challenges, and to have opportunities
to exchange ideas and solutions. This day long workshop will feature
peer reviewed papers, peachy assignments, and posters. Additionally,
there will be a keynote on systematic evaluation to collect evidence
to validate innovative approaches to teaching HPC and PDC topics. We
will also provide an update on the second version of the PDC
curriculum updates, an effort carried out by
CDER < https://grid.cs.gsu.edu/~tcpp/curriculum/?q=home > for providing a
guideline to include PDC topics to the undergraduate CS and
Engineering curriculum. Please check the detailed schedule
here < https://grid.cs.gsu.edu/~tcpp/curriculum/?q=technical_program18 >.
