Call for Special Session Proposals for GLSVLSI'18 (http://www.glsvlsi.org/)
The 28th edition of GLSVLSI will be held in Chicago. We would also like
to invite proposals for
special sessions in GLSVLSI 2018. Proposals that address any topics of
interest to the GLSVLSI
community, and take the form of any format (e.g., panels, hot-topic
sessions, embedded tutorials,
debates) are all welcome. Special sessions typically run for 1.5-2
hours. Each speaker at a
special session has the opportunity to include a paper of up to 6 pages,
but minimally a 1-page
extended abstract is required in the proceedings. All papers/extended
abstracts will be reviewed
before being published in the official proceedings of the conference.
Detailed paper/extended
abstract submission instructions will be provided upon acceptance of the
proposal.
Special sessions can take the form of:
(1) panels discussing visionary and/or controversial issues;
(2) hot-topic sessions dealing with the introduction and discussion of
emerging problems;
(3) embedded tutorials addressing recent technical trends that are of
interest to GLSVLSI participants.
Please follow these guidelines while preparing the proposal:
— Prepare a single PDF not exceeding three pages
— Describe the session topic, the format and intended audience
— Include a list of speakers with their biographical sketch and
presentation titles/abstracts
Please submit your special session proposal to the “special session
track” on the easychair
submission site. To be eligible for review, your proposal must be
submitted by January 15, 2018.
Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent by January 31, 2018.
Please contact
Yanjing Li (yanjingl at uchicago.edu) if you have any questions or need
