[hpc-announce] CFP: Power/Energy Management at Extreme Scale Workshop (PEMES) at IGSCC

The inaurgural Power/Energy Management at Extreme Scale Workshop (PEMES), to be held in conjunction with the International Green and Sustainable Computing Conference, invites submissions concerning the following topics:
Power and energy management standards such as PowerAPI and Redfish.
Novel research on performance optimization under hard and soft power and energy bounds.
Architectural research on power measurement and control with application to high performance computing.
“State of the practice” reports on existing HPC power and energy control schemes.
The audience will primarily be vendor and stakeholders in HPC systems. As such, we prefer research with a demonstrated relevance to current and future HPC systems.
Submission guidelines:
* Regular research paper: submission of full paper. Regular paper submissions are limited to 10 single-space pages (including figures, tables and references) using a 10-point on 8.5x11-inch pages (US Letter). Templates can be found at: https://www.igscc.org/paper-submission. Instructions for preparing regular papers for the proceedings will be emailed to authors of accepted papers.
* Hot topic abstract: submission of an extended abstract. These submissions target work-in-progress research on potentially controversial topics in power management. Hot topic extended abstracts are limited to 5 single-space pages: https://www.igscc.org/paper-submission. Accepted hot topic extended abstracts will be published only on the PEMES18 website.
