SBAC-PAD 2018 - Call for Participation

We invite you to attend SBAC-PAD 2018, the 30th International
Symposium on Computer Architecture and High Performance Computing,
co-sponsored by IEEE Computer Society, to be held at the Ecole Normale
Superieure, Lyon, France in September 24-27, 2018.

SBAC­-PAD started in 1987 and has continuously presented an overview
of new developments, applications, and trends in parallel and
distributed computing technologies. SBAC-PAD is open for faculty
members, researchers, specialists and graduate students around the
world.

City of this year's edition, Lyon is the 2nd largest economic and
industrial region in France, and has become one of the favorite
destinations for tourism in Europe. Lyon is also considered the most
liveable city in France according to the Economist Intelligence Unit.

SBAC-PAD will offer four keynote speeches covering recent advances in
computer architecture, scheduling, and HPC as well as details on
applications targeted at the two top supercomputers, namely IBM's
Summit and the Sunway TaihuLight system. The symposium contains nine
technical sessions with high-quality papers covering a broad spectrum
of solutions on architecture, and high-performance and distributed

The first edition of an exciting workshop on High Performance Machine
Learning (HPML) will take place on September 24 along with the 9th
Workshop on Applications for Multi-Core Architectures (WAMCA). More
details on HPML and WAMCA, accepted papers and programs can be

Walk tours in the Old Town of Lyon, part of the UNESCO World Heritage,
will be organised during the event. To close the symposium, a banquet
will served on a boat while it cruises along the Rhone and the Saone
rivers.
