[hpc-announce] Call for participation for E3-RSD research school in energy efficiency of distributed systems

Dear all,

the E3-RSD school on energy-efficiency in networks and distributed
systems will take place in Dinard (Brittany, France) from October 1st
to October 4th 2018. Registrations are open.

It is organized by the energy action of the GDR RSD (research group
on networks and distributed systems) in collaboration with the GDS
EcoInfo (group on environmental and societal impacts of ICT) and the
ASF (French Chapter of ACM SIGOPS).

Keynote topics include:
- energy consumption of Internet of Things protocols
- energy-aware fog/edge architectures
- energy efficiency in ISP and data center networks
- energy efficient emerging computing machines
- smart grids
- life cycle analysis of ICT devices

As in the previous edition, participants will be encouraged to present
their research work during short talks to promote collaborations and
scientific discussions.
