CfP: PhD Symposium of the 5th European Conference on Service-Oriented and Cloud Computing
(5.9-7.9.2016, Vienna, Austria)

The ESOCC 2016 PhD Symposium is an international forum for PhD students working in any of the areas addressed by the ESOCC conference. The main aim of the Symposium is to give PhD students an opportunity to present their research activity and perspectives, to critically discuss them with other PhD students and with established researchers in the area, and to get fruitful feedbacks and advices on their research activity.

PhD students working in any area addressed by the ESOCC conference (all aspects of Service-Oriented and Cloud Computing, which constitute the main technology available to date for implementing service-oriented architectures and cloud computing, cf. http://esocc2016.eu/call-for-papers/ <http://esocc2016.eu/call-for-papers/>) can submit a short report providing a clear statement of the problem they intend to address, motivating the interest and novelty of the underlying research challenges, demonstrating the ideas by examples, and describing the proposed research plan and expected results.

Reports should not exceed 8 pages formatted according to the LNCS proceedings guidelines. The papers should be authored by the PhD student and indicate the name of her/his supervisor. Papers will be peer-reviewed by members of the program committee and have to be submitted by July 12, 2016 via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=esocc2016 <https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=esocc2016>) . For any problem regarding the submission process, send an email to info at esocc2016.eu <mailto:info at esocc2016.eu>. It is planned to provide the participants online proceedings and to publish selected contributions as post-proceedings in the Springer CCIS series.
