**CALL FOR PAPERS**

Cloud computing has become a very hot topic over the past few years.
One of the main requirements in cloud computing environments is a high
degree of automation for provisioning and dynamic management of IT
resources (compute, storage and network resources) and services.

In order to facilitate the management of such cloud computing environments,
most datacenters rely on virtualization. Clients can request the allocation
of virtual machines with a negociated SLA, and the provider manages virtual
machines in its infrastructure and tries to save resources as much as
possible while enforcing the SLA of its clients.

Therefore, virtualization is a key technology for the management of cloud
computing environments and most cloud services require a combination of
virtualization support and middleware support for its implementation.

The workshop will be one day in length, composed of 20 min paper presentations,
each followed by 10 min discussion sections. Presentations may be accompanied
by interactive demonstrations.

**TOPICS**

Topics of interest addressed by the VT15 workshop include, but are not limited to:

- Hypervisor and network virtualization
- Computer architecture and virtualization
- Optimization of virtualization
- SLA enforcement in virtualized environments
- Resource management in virtualized environments
- Simulation of virtualized environments
- Fault-tolerance in virtualized environments
- Security in virtualized environments
- Performance isolation in virtualized environments
- Energy management in virtualized environments
- Devop for virtualized environments
