We invite authors to submit original research and review articles that
target biological data analysis and molecular dynamics problems. Papers must
be related to the design and implementation of high performance algorithms
and parallel computing systems for bioinformatics and computational biology.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:  

  1. Bioinformatics databases

  2. Computational genomics and metagenomics

  3. Gene expression analysis with RNA-Seq and microarrays

  4. Gene identification and annotation

  5. Molecular evolution and phylogeny inference

  6. Molecular dynamics simulation of biomolecules

  7. Next generation sequencing (NGS)

  8. Protein structure prediction and modeling

  9. Big data solutions to biological applications

  10. Cluster, grid, and cloud computing

  11. Hardware accelerators such as GPUs, FPGAs, x86/SSE, and Xeon Phis

  12. Energy-aware high performance biological applications

  13. High performance algorithms for systems biology

  14. Parallel algorithms and HPC architectures for biological applications
