Call for Tutorial Proposals at DSN 2016
June 28 – July 1 2016
Toulouse, France
===================================================================

Experts in dependable and secure systems are invited to share their expertise with the community by submitting proposals for tutorials at the international conference on Dependable Systems and Networks (DSN) to be held in Toulouse, France from June 28 to July 1 2016.

DSN '16 invites proposals for introductory, intermediate, and advanced tutorials, either full-day (six hours) or half-day (three hours). A distinguished panel of experts will select the tutorials from the submitted proposals.

This year the tutorial track at DSN will feature:

- Waived registration fee: selected tutorials will benefit of up to 2 complementary registrations to the main conference! More details here<http://dsn.org/conference/dsn-2016/pages/past_tutorials_DSN.pdf>.

- Tutorial video pitch: accepted tutorials will be welcome to provide a 2-5 minute video pitch to advertise the tutorial, which will be posted on the DSN '16 website as well as on other channels (e.g., youtube, facebook, twitter and dedicated dependability and IEEE/IFIP channels) well in advance of the conference, to attract attendees. The video format is free and can range from “talk over slides” to “Hollywood-style” clips.

- Tutorial dissemination: a digital copy containing all tutorial notes will be issued to all conference attendees.

As in previous years, the DSN ‘16 tutorial committee encourages “hands-on” tutorials – those that give attendees the chance to try pre-prepared demos or exercises during the tutorial. Tutorials focused on 101 courses on new technologies, as well as development, analysis, monitoring and assessment tools are good candidates for hands-on demos, but others may be as well.

A list of past DSN tutorials (2012 – 2015) is available here<http://dsn.org/conference/dsn-2016/pages/past_tutorials_DSN.pdf>.

How to submit. Tutorial proposals must be submitted electronically at: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dsn2016tutorials

Please refer to the call for proposals available here<http://dsn.org/conference/dsn-2016/pages/call_for_tutorial_DSN2016.pdf> for more details.
