I would like to kindly invite you to the SEA Software Engineering
Conference, hosted by NCAR in Boulder, CO on April 1-5, 2013.
The SEA Conference aims to keep software engineers up-to-date and to
foster networking and collaboration within UCAR/NCAR and with our peer
institutions developing software focused on scientific disciplines (e.g.
NOAA, NIST, NREL, Universities, SWRI, NASA, DOE, other supercomputing
centers, IGES, USGS, etc.)
Please consider submitting a talk! Only an abstract (even just a
draft abstract) needs to be submitted, but the deadline is near:
Jan 15th: https://sea.ucar.edu/conference/2013
Diverse topics relevant to software engineering theory and practice will
be covered, including (but not limited to):
- Design, testing, engineering methodologies, best practices;
- Parallel and distributed computing, GPUs;
- Web, User Interfaces, mobile;
- Big Data;
- Scalable HPC Profilers (this will include hands-on tutorials)
Registration to attendees is not open yet, but you can start marking
your calendars! Please forward this message to other possible interested
parties.
