[Darshan-users] Trouble building shared parallel hdf5 library on BGQ, trying to use w Darshan

  I haven't tried HDF5 with dynamic linking. We build HDF5 like this:

  $ ./configure --without-pthread --disable-shared --enable-fortran --disable-cxx --enable-parallel --with-zlib=/soft/libraries/alcf/current/xl/ZLIB --prefix=/soft/libraries/hdf5/1.8.14/cnk-xl/V1R2M2-20150213

  using XL compiler.

  Do you get a core file from the abort? If you take a look at the call stack maybe that will give a hint where we should look.
