Hi Patrick,

Your built-in microphone should work, but audio from the iSight will not
work well, if at all. Some other microphones may work also -- hopefully
other people will respond with their preferred microphones. There is a
small list on the OSX download page of microphones people have reported
as working on OSX.

Here are some details to help get your built-in microphone to work.
Before the rat audio tool starts, in system preferences, make sure you
have your default audio input and output set to the built-in microphone
and built-in speakers. If you change any audio settings or devices in
the system preferences, you'll have to restart rat (Preferences->Disable
Audio, Preferences->Enable Audio, or just hit "Go") before rat will
notice these changes.

The 3.0 releases do not have any improvements for these issues yet.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you are able to get it to work or not.

Eric
