[AG-USERS] Quick Intro and Quick Questions

Hi ag-users

i have been using AG for about 5 years now for varied artistic performances, research and communication. 

I am now trying to get AG working on my OSX laptop, with a i-sight camera for convenience. I see varied waring  about audio drop-out and loss but i cannot seem to get the mic on the isight to work at all. 
I am on OSX 10.3.9, i-sight camera, Last Stable AG toolkit.
will the Beta maybe fix this issue or can someone suggest a mic that might work in tandem with the i-sight?

I was hoping the built in audio on the laptop might work, but i can't seem to get any sound out of rat  with i-sight connected.
