Thank you for your E-mail.

As you wrote you are familiar with AG and VCON software (vPoint HD).  I would like to clarify regarding vPoint HD Interactive Multicast application.  You wrote: "It may support IP/TV multicast in a one way mode" can you please clarify what do you mean by that?  As I have not yet installed AG - can you confirm if AG compatible with vPoint HD Interactive Multicast and is able to get the stream (Cisco IP/TV support it)?

Helo Ran,

AG does not interconnect directly with H.323. It does not support VCON
Interactive Multicast. It may support IP/TV multicast in a one way mode. You
could test it and find out. I generally recommend folks install an H.323 unit
at the same time they are building their nodes. It provides a good backup when
setting up and using AG and a more widely available protocol for
connecting 'to the rest of the world.'

VRVS provides a rudimentary but workable bridge between H.323 and AG. It's
main drawback is that it only supports a few rooms.

I am very familiar with Access Grid, VCON equipment and software, as well as
H.323.
