Colleagues

It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of the latest Access Grid "All-In-One-Installer" for windows, which can be downloaded from http://www.accessgrid.org/software.

This bundle release includes "new" HD node services which includes a newer version of "vic". This version of vic provides:

*	BlackMagic Card support
*	improved x264 performance which includes multi-threaded support
*	Native Windows GUI
*	IOCom support
*	DV camera support on Windows
*	The Shared Application (Shared Paint) has also been added

The new node services provides the ability to select a variety of codec's (H.264, mpeg4, etc). It also allows the selection of the BlackMagic device as a resource. Additionally, within the HD services, the defaults have been modified to utilise better quality codec and transmission settings. Also, the VPCSCreen service settings have been modified to use the H261AS codec and superior quality settings by default.

I wish to thank all those who worked on making this release happen and hope you enjoy the improvements and extra functionality.

Thanks for your time,
Jason.

PS: Windows 7 support is not supported by AG 3.2, but in our testing it has worked fine after applying the fix described in http://www.accessgrid.org/node/197.
