Invitation: "Informal Workshop: Towards Collaborative Spaces through "OneVRE To Join Them All" and other projects"

A show-and-tell event on Thursday 16th December 2010, as part of the Virtual Research Environment (Video and Shared Spaces Related) OneVRE website launch, funded by JISC. Room 1.10, Kilburn Building The University of Manchester (or via Video Conferencing/IOCOM/Access Grid - see below)

A series of projects will be described including:
- improved screenstreamer (desktop projection)
- improved multi-stream video recording and combined playback
- tweets in video conferencing
- shared data sets across portals
- synchronised stereoscopic display
- wii controlled laser pointers
- remote high-end scientific visualization
- ...
