[AG-TECH] Venue Client startup problem

Ben:

At the first launch (of 3.2 beta), the VenueClient detects multicast
availability and sets this preference. Aside from this unfortunate
bug--which has been fixed in SVN already--this detection will
typically get people to a working network state on the first try. This
allows us to continue in our stand that multicast is the best
distribution mechanism to use, but to fall back to unicast as needed.
More work is needed to round out this functionality (e.g., what if you
take your laptop to a different network after the initial
configuration?), and we'll continue to evolve.
