Hi Doug,

Thanks for the advice.

Unfortunately having replaced vic.exe, I now receive an error message every time vic starts up, and vic crashes.

I've attached the error report log file.

Regards, Ben.

It's been fixed in SVN.

With newer versions of VIC, you can use the right mouse button on a video window and select half, original or double size, while preserving the aspect ratio.

Could you try replacing the vic.exe you are using with the one from (which uses newer code from SVN) :
  http://www.vislab.uq.edu.au/ag3/windows/vic-20090127.zip

The older vic.exe would most likely be found in the VideoConsumerService or VideoService folders found under something like:
C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\AccessGrid3\local_services\

I suspect you'll now get a (smaller) black box for small and medium capture, but should disappear for large MPEG-4 or H.264 capture.

In the past, shift-S, shift-M and shift L would clip, but now it resizes.

Cheers,
Doug
