[AG-TECH] Add content to the AG website day (30th/Nov/2007)

Jason,

I would like to see a page devoted to how AG nodes are being used,
especially
for specialized projects. E.g., ag nodes in support of a particular
research project
or specific administrative function. while every node might be seen as a
generic
resource, there are some specialized cases that would be seen as
innovative or
creative.

For example, i've installed two out three nodes at RIT that were
designed to connect
a lab that was split across three buildings to provide that
serendipitous 'water cooler'
interaction that is now missing. Or another project is being discussed
that would try
to replicate a "collaboratorium" in building with another in a separate
building. Or
again, how the AG was used in a class on Interface Design to see how it
could be
improved -) I would gladly contribute these three examples right away.
I'm already
doing that on my own local website, but collecting all the global uses
in one place
would be better.

It would be nice to document these uses, whether permanent or
transitory, as real life
examples beyond videoconferencing, as ways that differentiate the access
grid system.
Then it would be much easier to explain/show why the AG is worthy of effort.

Perhaps a nice classified list of examples with text, photos, videos, etc.

What do you think?
