[AG-TECH] mac as multi-projection display system?

Fred

Just something to consider, and I'm no expert here. But from my
understanding, a lot of people currently have problems with Audio on the
MAC, quality not as good, having to use an external USB device, etc.

If you wish to use a MAC as a display system and you may wish to make it
the audio machine as well (So that you can display RAT easily), than
this is something to consider.

I know a number of people have steered away from using the MAC for this
particular reason.

Anyway, something to keep in mind!

Cheers,
Jason.

thanks everyone for the replies on this.
i'm considering using a Mac Pro as the display machine in a two system
node, and i just wanted to find out more info on how the duallink
display
cards are at driving more standard projectors and monitors.
if the Mac Pro can understand a TripleHead2Go without drivers then
that's
great.
