[AG-TECH] cannot start up nodeservice

Perhaps the NodeService isn't running. Try starting the VenueClient on the 
command-line like so:
   VenueClient.py --personalNode
it will automatically startup an instance of the NodeService. You should 
then be able to "Manage my Node..." in the VenueClient.
