[AG-TECH] High packet loss audio

Hello John,

Is there anyway to setup a VPN? Maybe be a bad suggestion due to the
network. Would VRVS be kinder in this situation?

There is a neat product out from a New Zealand company called Ectus. They
do low bandwidth video streaming. I believe they were purchased by Tandberg
in the H.323 arena: http://www.ectus.net/website/product-demos.html

Here is a short list of a few open source videoconferencing projects that
might be useful. Perhaps someone on the list can provide better
suggestions: http://myhome.hanafos.com/~soonjp/vclinux.html

Thank you,

John

Trying that one again after the first one was lost...

Has anyone got any advice for dealing with accessgrid over a high packet
loss
connection? Tweaking settings in rat to do with redundancy just make it
crash, and I'm at a loss to know what to do. Skype seems to cope much
better.
