Subject: [AG-TECH] AGVCR file format

        Hi all,

I had a thought yesterday that possibly I should make some
changes to
allow AGVCR to support, at least in the file format for now, any number
of RTP/RTCP streams per-recording. Now, I know it's only been out for a
couple of days and only people on this list know about it, so I was
thinking that if I make those changes - would it matter if it broke any
recordings anyone has made at this point? I can try and get the
converter program working correctly if anyone's recorded anything in the

last couple of days they absolutely cannot live without. I have
recordings of my own that are nearly able to be converted perfectly from

even older formats I had, so the converter will be around eventually.
I know I said I wouldn't change the file format, but given the
responses I've had, it seems that supporting anything from 1 stream or
more would be a useful change to make at this point, i.e. before too
many recordings get made. Adding on different types of streams to record

and interface changes can come later but then will be compatible with
recordings made in the new format.
I probably should look at setting up some sort of mailing list
for this
program so I'm not hijacking the ag-tech list to discuss it :) So,
thanks ANL :)
Anyway, I thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone had
any such
recording they have to keep, anything to mention, or ideas they want to
see incorporated. Feel free to contact me off-list if you'd prefer.

        Thanks,

        Derek
