[AG-TECH] Gentoo: emerge fails on rat. I only need VenueServer and BridgeServer

Hi,
I am having the exact same problem, could anyone offer any new hints?
I am about to try what Thomas Uram suggested with moving the file, from 
his email on June 14th, but it seems that West had problems with this as 
well.
