[AG-TECH] Gentoo AG package update

A new Gentoo ebuild for Globus is available that includes a patch to timeout connections 
that may hang the venue server.  The patch is included in the AccessGrid ebuild bundle 
which is referenced on the AG 2.3 web pages (AccessGrid-2.3-r1.tar.gz).  It is also 
available in a separate globus ebuild here:

http://www.mcs.anl.gov/fl/research/accessgrid/software/releases/2.3/patches/globus-client-2.4.3-r2.ebuild.tar.gz

Note:  If you are not running a venue server, you do not need to install this update.

To install the update:

- Download the globus-client ebuild package
- Untar it in /usr/local/portage
- emerge globus-client/globus-data-management-client
