CPU is usually between 20 and 50% (VIC 1.1.3 always display around 20%.. and VIC 1.1.5 displays around 50% CPU usage)..
I doesnt look like a resources issue to me...

To me that would indicate that the processor, memory
and graphics card are NOT the problem.

  Cheers

The machine is dual P4 3Ghz with 2 GB of RAM. The videostreams are 24 fps when displayed on the TFT but, when moved to the screen the frames per second lowers.

The videocard is an Nvidia Quadro NVS.
Other node in Portugal appreciated the same effect.
We welcome any node to test this at https://accessgrid.cesga.es:8000/Venues/default. I am restarting my node, so I will need some time to join again.

    Kind regards,
    Natalia.

One way to tell what is going on is to mute all of the video streams. when muted, all vic is doing is parsing the packet streams, and not decoding the h261 (as I recall anyway). It is definitely not rendering them. If you still see frame loss with streams muted, it is most likely the network at fault.

You can also bring up the CPU monitor; if you are seeing 100% CPU with the video streams being displayed, that's a clue that the computer is not keeping up.

        Hi everybody,

I have quite a huge problem. VIC is performing in a strange way, I have 13 windows on my display and each videostream has been reduced its fps rate. It seems like VIC discarded frames due to performance issues or something like that.

Any help about this will be greatly appreciated.

        Kind regards,

        Natalia.
