[AG-TECH] GetData() problem in wxPython shared application

This works for me:

-----------------------
self.file = None

# Get current state
self.file = self.sharedAppClient.GetData("file")

if self.file:
    # do stuff
else:
    print "data does not exist..."
------------------------

Which platform?
