[AG-TECH] Cameras

I didn't think the D30 (NTSC / D-31 (PAL) ) was still made. It
has been replaced by the D-100. Neither D30/31 nor D-100 can be
successfully mounted camera-down on a ceiling, as they don't have
an image reverse feature. For that we use the Elmo PTC-250C, which
is reputed to obey the same serial protocol as the Sonys.

We have a mix - 8 Sony D-31, 5 Sony D-100 and 1 Elmo PTC-250C
spread over four nodes. I wish the Sony's had something less
on/off that Backlight Compensation - like a decent settable iris -
but we've just about got the lighting right so this is less of a
problem.

Cheers

Chris Osland
