[AG-TECH] AG 2.1.2 problems under Windows XP

I "upgraded" our display machine from W2K to XP
the other day and have since been struggling trying
to get AG2 running.

1) vic is crashing with a runtime error when enabling
    transmit mode. I've got a single svideo camera
    plugged into an Osprey 100 capture board. The board
    works, the WDM drivers are installed, and I can
    use the camera under NetMeeting, vidcap, etc. The
    vic menu shows this device as "Microsoft WDM Image
    Capture (win32):

        $ cat videoresources
        device: Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32)
        portnames:  external-in

    Works fine under linux (bttv driver) and W2K (probably
    VfW driver?) Works fine here under XP for watching
    streams, just not transmitting.

2) Globus config problems:

     $ python AGServiceManager.py

     No handlers could be found for logger "AG.CertificateManager"
     There are no certificates loaded; application cannot use
     Globus communications AGServiceManager URL:
         https://ag0-display:12000/ServiceManager

    I've run globus_init.pyw and configured globus to use the
    same certificates as before. Under W2K, starting
    AGServiceManager prompts me for the certificate passphrase
    and creates a proxy certificate.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers,
Darran.
