[AG-TECH] Upgrading to 2.2

I as well have tried removing the GLOBUS_HOSTNAME variable with no luck. I think there might be something wrong with the installer. Because I am not getting rat.exe or vic.exe files in the /bin dir of the install path. I also have the same screenshot of the service manager as Jennifer. I have tried reinstalling, restarting and re-downloading all the files including active python 2.3, wxpython and the 2.2 toolkit . I was able to get and run the older version of the toolkit (2.1.2) with python 2.2 with no problems. Also selecting exit from the Venue Client causes the program to hang everytime. I have to force quit the client through Task manager in order to kill the process.

I seem to be having the same problem, and I've already removed the
GLOBUS_HOSTNAME variable (as suggested earlier on this thread) and
rebooted for good measure. When I open Node Manager (from the Venue
Client), there doesn't appear to be a ServiceManager running. Here's a
screen shot:

BTW, I do find rat.exe on my hard drive, in AudioService.zip.
