[AG-TECH] Connection failure, RH9 linux probs

We're using globus 2.4.3, which is also labeled as the "Pre-WS bundle" 
on the globus software pages, and the corresponding pyGlobus.  Since the 
error message references xio, it looks like you're using some later code 
(which one?).  Anyway, you should have more success using the 2.4.3 
versions.
