I don't think that I was getting TOO strident, but I have to apologize for 
my statement that the process was broken.

(yes my hand is stinging from the slap ...  ;-) )

 From Susanne's note, I realize that all of the certificates that I had 
submitted were from the broken part of the cert request tree, and really 
didn't go anywhere.

(But why didn't you folks read my mind?  That DWITIM 
[Do-What-I-THOUGHT-I-Meant] processor ...)
