[AG-TECH] grid-proxy-init Segfaulting on Debian

So far we've gotten the setup-gsi to configure and recieved a
certificate. I began (with the install instructions on the web) with
executing the grid-proxy-init and found that there was not a link to the
libglobus_ssl_utils_gcc32pthr.so.0, (as well as some other packages that
were required to continiue)so I added the path of the shared object file
to /etc/ld.so.conf and went out and got the remaining packages.
Now there's a segmentation fault error. My earlier post mentioned the
UNIX install instructions and Ti pointed out that there were more steps
in the execution that needed to be run. Is this the case again?
Does anyone know if this could be a problem between the way that RedHat
packages stuff or if the C library module is different between RH and
Debian? That would possibly mean that for a Debian install we would need
to get the source and re-compile with the Debian C library and then
begin the install - which isn't a big deal.
I checked out the CVS tonight and there's lots of good info on getting
the AG software configured, but not much on the configuration of the
Globus packages.
Thanks again for the help.
