This I'm not sure, but I recall that someone else here had an error
similar and that's what it was. Oh and I just remembered. After sourcing
the proper files you have to run:

$GPT_LOCATION/sbin/gpt-postinstall
$GPT_LOCATION/sbin/gpt_verify

All these steps should be printed out after you install the globus rpm.
I'll double check to make sure they are.
