There has been some confusion in using AGSchedule
http://agschedule.ncsa.uiuc.edu provided by NCSA. Hopefully, this message
will help clarify some things.

In order to use AGSchedule, you must register and provide some basic
information all users need in order to communicate. Once registered, you
can be designated a Node Operator by contacting a current node operator at
your site or emailing your request to agschedule at ncsa.uiuc.edu.

Once registered, it is recommended that you log in each time you use
AGSchedule. Much of the information is provided based on your login
information.

One problem commonly occurs when you are not logged in and click the
"Launch Now!" link provided on each meeting details page. An alert comes
up that states you have not created a mud character. To solve this
problem, once you have logged in, click the "Options" link in the light
blue tool bar. This takes you to the "Edit Profile" page. Here you will
find a "Create Moo Character" button. Click this and enter a name for your
moo character.

Once your moo character name has been created, you can use the "Launch
Now!" link to start an AG session. Remember, you must start your Event
Server, DRM, ARM, and VRM before clicking the "Launch Now!" link.

Please realize that NCSA has set up a venues server separate from the
Argonne National Laboratory venues server. If you create a moo character
with AGSchedule, that character will NOT be created on Argonne's venues
server moo.

We encourage everyone in the AG community to use AGSchedule. We want
AGSchedule to be as useful and flexible as possible. Please let newcomers
know about AGSchedule as you start coordinating meetings with them. We
continue to update and add new features and we welcome your comments:
