The first tutorial covering the new AG 2.0 system will occur March 4th at
GGF7 in Tokyo, Japan. It will cover topics of interest to both new and
experienced users. The tutorial will be made up of two sessions: a beginners
session in the morning and advanced session in the afternoon. You can sign
up for either or both. An abstract of the full day is below as well as a
detailed agenda for the morning and afternoon sessions.

Access Grid v2.0 Tutorial
The Access Grid v2.0 tutorial will introduce new users to the goals of
the Access Grid project and experienced users to the changes that will
occur in the transition from v1.0 to v2.0. Attendees will be introduced
to the underlying technology infrastructure that is being used in v2.0.
In the morning session users will be introduced to the core AG 2.0
changes, node management and virtual venues. Information from the
morning session will carry over into the afternoon session with a
lesson in installing the new virtual venue server and services, as well as
how changes impact the construction of AG nodes. The afternoon session
will conclude with an interactive session that walks the attendees
through the building of new services for Access Grid nodes and the virtual
venue server, and
the construction of applications for use in the AG.
