[AG-TECH] ARM & VRM Corba errors

G'day y'all

We're just bringing up our first full node, using RH8.0 on the audio/video machines. We're getting an error when starting the eventlistener, the same as Tom Coffin mentioned two years back :-) http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/web-mail-archive/lists/ag-tech/2001/01/msg00027.html (see below).

Following Bob's comments in the archives: 
 - Our RPMs are from that obscure snapshot directory of Bob's (number 006 - which apparently is the latest?). 
 - I checked the A/Vrm-eventlistener scripts, which pointed to the older jdk (117) java. Pointing them to the "newer" (jre122) java only helped in the sense that it no longer opened the OBnnnnn.jar files at all and complained about 'no such method's :-) 
 - We get the same error regardless of whether the event-monitor is running on the display machine or not, go figure.
 - the display machine is running the 1.2 agdisplay bundle.

(The JRE java seems a bit odd in the way it opens noncore jar files?)

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Is there anything newer in the CVS areas? Or are there any rpm's we've missed? (I'd expect different errors in that case).
