[AG-TECH] adding a service; was: WinGlobus cert problem

Following Tom's doc (thanks), I get to the point of:

--- on Win2K ---
Start -> run Node Mgr
  File -> Attach to Node (enter "https://<myhost:11000/NodeService")

get an error in(l.467 in alpha3.1):
  self.serviceManagers = self.vc.GetServiceManagers()
saying, NoneType obj has no attr GetServiceManagers, so apparently vc isn't
getting created properly. Guess I could do some debugging...but...

--- returning to Linux ---

I can run:
% python NodeManagement.py

and see 'localhost:12000' appear in the ServiceMgrs column. Also, the "-
Connected" suffix appears in the frame's titlebar.

But then what? What does "start adding services" (from the writeup) mean?
 Again, I'm new to the AG/AGTk landscape, so be gentle...

Basically, I'd like to know how to "add a custom service that does X".

Any pointers to docs, AGTk classes, etc, is welcome.

thanks,
--Randy
