hi -

we just ran into this problem after MCS put up a more restrictive firewall. 
There are two ports that need to be opened incoming to the server:

         4561 for the JSDT Registry, and
         5001 for the DPPT server itself

port 80 doesn't need to be opened to the dppt server itself, unless there 
is actually an http server running on it.

clients don't need to have any incoming connections open; they make 
outgoing connections to the two ports listed above on the server.
