[AG-TECH] AG 2.0 and static multicast addresses

I have been thinking about the static/dynamic multicast address problem as
well but from a different direction.

How will AG 2.0 prevent two different venue servers from allocating the
same multicast address to a venue when allocating from the sdr address
block, or for that matter allocating an address that is in use from an sdr
session?

My take on this problem is that the venue server should actually send out
sdr compatible advertisements when it allocates an address. This has the
added advantage that it gives an additional route for interoperability
with other systems (not AG1.0 nodes but anything compatible with
traditional mbone)
