[AG-TECH] ALSA 0.9 with rat

We are pleased to announce a test release of patches to rat, which
enable rat to use the newer ALSA 0.9 API. ALSA is the default audio in
the Linux 2.6 series kernels.

These patches have had in house testing with ALSA 0.9 enabled 2.4
kernels, as well as the 2.6-test1 kernel. We would appreciate comments
and suggestions from anyone able to perform further testing of these
patches. If this wider testing is successful, we hope the patches can be
incorporated into future releases of both UCL and ANL rat.
