A few of us were chatting about this on the MOO, and we're all clueless about what the problem is, except to say we don't think it's a problem with the server (ie, we think it's network). It also might be useful to know whether you're only experiencing lag when you're posting things yourself, or everything's totally laggy.

Ditto for anybody else who's seeing this lag, of course. . .

yep, i still get a pretty bad lag from whatever i type.

same here.  i've assumed that it's an issue with the server, which
i assume is running at argonne.  other network connections seem fine,
so hard to blame it on that.  is it possible that this is an argonne
server issue?  not trying to place blame, just inquiring!
